Three dogs died Thursday in a mobile home fire in Westminster.

Crews are responding to a mobile home fire in the 800 block of of 132nd Ave. Initial reports are that the unit is fully engulfed. Firefighters are reporting flames and smoke visible during response. #132ndAveFire

Denver weather: Dry, windy Thursday to bring extreme fire conditions Friday

The fire was in the 800 block of West 132nd Avenue, the Westminster Fire Department said in a 3:50 pm tweet. When firefighters arrived on scene, the residence was fully engulfed in flames and smoke.

The North Metro Fire Rescue District and the Thornton Fire Department aided WFD in putting out the blaze. No people were injured in the fire, but three family pets died.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
