Joseph Lucero, 45, was arrested on Monday as a suspect in the May 19 shooting in the 1400 block of Yates Street, according to police.

The victim has been identified as 35-year-old Christian “St. Louis” Gardner.

Lucero, who was taken into custody with the aid of Lakewood police, is being held for investigation of first-degree murder.
