Meteorologists expect to see a high of 60 degrees today, with clouds clearing for sunny weather in the afternoon.
After a weekend of strong winds and snow in the mountains, the Denver area can expect calmer breezes reaching 6 to 8 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
The weather service warned drivers that road conditions in the mountains and southern foothills could still be slippery following yesterday’s precipitation.

Warmer temperatures are expected later in the week, with the National Weather Service forecasting a high of 74 degrees under sunny skies on Tuesday. Wednesday’s forecast high is 79 and Thursday’s is near 81, according to the weather service.
